Sister Carmen is a Handmaid of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Born in Peru, she has lived in the United States since 1986, in both Philadelphia and Atlanta, where she has worked in Hispanic ministry, adult faith formation, retreat ministry, and vocation ministry.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from Villanova University and a Master’s degree in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College. She was trained in spiritual direction at Mercy Center in Colorado and is experienced in giving spiritual direction in both English and Spanish. She is very happy to offer her services at St. Raphaela Center.
Hna. Carmen es religiosa, Esclava del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús. Es peruana y desde 1986 ha vivido en USA, entre Filadelfia y Atlanta. La mayor parte de esos años en Atlanta, trabajando tanto en ministerio hispano, formación de la fe, en especial para adultos, retiros y ministerio vocacional.
Ella hizo su B.A. en Teología en la Universidad de Villanova, y su M.A. en Pastoral Ministry en Boston College. Fue entrenada en dirección espiritual en Mercy Center, Colorado. Tiene experiencia de dar dirección espiritual a personas ya sea en español como en inglés. Está muy contenta de ofrecer sus servicios en St. Raphaela Center.
