Taizé Coordinator & Visiting Spiritual Director
In addition to his work as a spiritual director and retreat director, Nicholas Collura is a board-certified member of the Association of Professional Chaplains and a certified teacher in the Narrative Enneagram Tradition. From 2017-2023, he worked as a palliative care chaplain and then as the director of a team of hospice chaplains and bereavement counselors in Philadelphia. He currently directs the Radius program, which supports ethical reflection on technology and culture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), though he returns to Philadelphia once a month to maintain his spiritual direction practice here.
Nicholas studied film and literature at Yale University and the University of Paris before earning an MDiv from the Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. He is all-but-dissertation on a Doctor of Ministry at Fordham University. He trained as a spiritual director at the Jesuit Collaborative in Boston and as a chaplain at Massachusetts General Hospital and Einstein Medical Center, and he spent three years of his life as a Jesuit on the West Coast.
