Mercy: The Wildness of Divine Love
"Belief in God-incarnate is belief in the wildness of divine love to seize us from within and turn us upside-down and move us in a new direction." ~Ilia Delio
All are invited to this Lenten Day of Reflection, presented by Sister Mary Trainer, RSM. We will enter this time of retreat assured by Pope Francis's words: "Such is the Mercy of God...it is a caress of love, of tenderness...it heals us, lifts us up, and bids us 'Go.'"
With Pope Francis, we open our hearts to embrace this gift of our "mercying God"--a metanoia in our own humanity and in our world's cry. In the story of Jorge Bergoglio, may we glimpse the mystery of grace that "untangles knots." May we, too, become vessels of mercy through which God draws near broken hearts, heals wounded spirits, awakens hearts to hear and respond to the cries of the poor.
Don't miss this unique event to enrich your Lenten journey. In addition to Sister Mary's presentation, there will be an opportunity to participate in the celebration of the Eucharist at 11:30am, followed by a hot lunch.
