Advent Day of Prayer

Date: Dec 5, 2018 - 8:30am

Details:

The prophet Isaiah looked forward to the “anointed one” who would come to bring good news to the poor, to heal the broken-hearted, to release captives, and to set prisoners free. As we make our journey through Advent we continue the work of the Prince of Peace by announcing the Good News that God has not forgotten his people. So, we seek healing and forgiveness for the wounds within us and in our world.

Highlights of the day:

  • Presentations by Fr. McIsaac
  • Personal time for prayer and reflection
  • Communal sharing
  • Sacrament of reconciliation
  • Celebration of the Eucharist with African purification ritual
